Makeup of the Day | Urban Decay Vice2 + Fun Palette

If you haven’t noticed yet, purple is my favorite color, especially with makeup. Lucky for me, I have brown eyes and purple compliments brown eyes perfectly.

When it comes to pigmented purple eye shadows, no brand comes close to Urban Decay. They have so many spectacular shades of purple and in my world you can never have too many.

Here’s my most recent purple look, perfect for a night out:IMG_7394IMG_7393

Get Ready With Me/Makeup Tutorial | Urban Decay Naked3 Palette

Urban Decay’s Naked3 palette is the first I’ve bought of the naked collection. Honestly, I’ve never been impressed by the naked line. The naked 3 palette is a whole other story.

This palette has such unique rose/neutral shades that can create soft, romantic looks, but built up further to create smokey, sultry looks.

Here’s one way to wear the Naked 3 palette:

How to Get Long, Thick, Natural Lashes

Everyone wants long, thick lashes. The easiest way to achieve this is to go the false lashes route, but I think false lashes should be reserved for special occasions… Like beauty pageants.

To achieve natural, thick lashes like the ones in the picture, you need the right products and you need to know the right application.

What I use:
1. L’Oreal Voluminous mascara
2. Maybelline Falsies
3. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Show Off

…in that order.

I use L’Oreal’s Voluminous mascara on my bottom lashes and on the tips of my top lashes. Maybelline’s Falsies and Rimmel’s Scandal Eyes Show Off are only for the top lashes.

The key to avoiding flat, clumpy lashes is in the application:
